President is a global yacht builder with yards in Taiwan along with many other custom mega yacht builders creating yachts to 80' and larger. The 42 Classic is the 2nd smallest model of the group. President is known for gorgeous interior joinery, finishes and old world style craftsmanship. The detail in the build quality will satisfy even the most demanding yachtsman/woman. Elizabeth Ann is a well maintained, dependable West Coast cruiser with only 1150 hours on her Cummins 330hp diesels. The upper/lower station make for convenient cruising and docking/locking as both side decks have swing away openings. Two complete and private staterooms with heads, spacious salon with convertible dinnette for an extra overnight berth, full galley with stove/oven and full size refrigerator/ freezer make passage making an easy chore for this performance trawler. She is capable of cruising comfortably and economically at 11-12 knots at 2000 rpm with a top speed of 18 knots at 2800 rpm.

The President 42 Classic offers a large and comfortable, well ventilated salon with lower helm, and impressive ships hatchways open to both side decks. The spacious main salon area features galley up on port side and a built-in L shaped convertible settee with storage under, a high-low, leafing burled mahogany table, wine locker, and storage compartments. The lower helm station is located forward on the Starboard side. Here you'll find a wooden dual wide helm seat, the electrical panel and excellent visibility. A center line hatch forward in the salon gives convenient access to a clean and spacious engine room beneath. Her for-deck hatch is located over the forward berth and the hatch, deck house side port holes, large sliders and door to the main salon provide plenty of natural light, ventilation, and impressive visibility throughout.
Electric and Espar diesel fired furnace provide comfortable temperature control. The guest stateroom is forward and features an island queen berth, a dressing table with swing out stool, and a large cedar-lined hanging locker. Several lockers and cubbies provide abundant storage. The ensuite head compartment has an electrical toilet, Corian counter-tops, shower and sink with H/C pressured water. A varnished teak floor grate covers the four sump drains in the shower.
Continuing aft and down a few steps you enter the luxurious mid ship master stateroom with its queen sized island berth. Drawers, lockers and a lighted, cedar-lined hanging locker provide storage. You'll also find a vanity with mirror and wood vanity chair, a pre-wired TV cabinet, and access to the aft deck.
