Liyan Cui, CPA-CGA

As controller at Freedom Marine, Liyan is the person who seals the deal. When you buy or sell a boat with our team, your funds will be ushered through the intricate transfer process via her steady and well-practiced hands.

Liyan holds a bachelor in economics and is certified as a CPA-CGA. She grew up in China and has been in Vancouver since 2002. She says she enjoys British Columbia very much and blames its loveliness for the fact she travels less and less these days. “I’m not so eager to check out new places because there is so much to do right in this area. I’ve settled down here,” she laughs. “I’m relaxed. I own a hummingbird feeder!”

While most of Liyan’s marine experience involves taking ferries and the sea bus, she loves the positive energy she feels from the boating community, and the thrill of sending those emails letting you know “Your sale is complete! Enjoy your new boat!”
