Susan Young

Susan is a self-proclaimed “Jack of all trades.” She loves the outdoors and loves working with people. She has a degree in Applied Science majoring in Gerontology and has worked in sales for 15 years in the outdoor and sporting goods industries. She has ultimately landed behind the scenes at Freedom Marine as a key support person. Susan might be ordering branded merchandise for customers one day and hiring hostesses for trade shows the next. No matter her task, she performs it with graceful determination, always wanting the best for Freedom customers, not only as the wife of founder Don Young, but as a person whose commitment to excellence is fundamental to her nature.

Susan absolutely loves the boating lifestyle and truly values the time she, Don and their three young “half mermaid” daughters spend on the water. In fact, 2 of their 3 girls have their boaters licences. Just one more to go!
