Bowen Island Escape

Our Princess Owners Group enjoyed a fun-filled weekend event on beautiful Bowen Island, with guests arriving in the afternoon to kick off the festivities with complimentary appetizers, beer and wine courtesy of Freedom Marine.

Saturday morning was relaxed, with a presentation on Desolation Sound starting at 10:30 a.m., priming owners for a getaway to this remote, northern playground. Topics included information on moorage, great places to raft or anchor, must-sees while visiting the area, where to find fuel, water & supplies, and how to find & follow marine weather forecasts. Others from the group opted for a beautiful guided hike into the nearby forested hills.

But Saturday’s real highlight turned out to be the 1st Annual Princess Owner’s Olympics, where teams were picked and hilarious games were played. This event was super fun for the families, creating many fun memories for the entire group.

On Saturday night we shared a beautiful “Best of the West Coast” 8-course seafood dinner on the private, outdoor patio at Doc Morgan’s Restaurant overlooking the marina.  Complimentary alcoholic beverages were served with each course. Needless to say all enjoyed this festive and very filling evening.

Sunday saw everyone heading home with big smiles on their faces. This Bowen Island experience was so much fun for our team and for our owners we’ve decided to offer several similar events each new season.
